My Life Intro




Hi, my name is Jose Manuel Reyes Im 16 and i was born in Colombia. I came to this country when i was around 6 years old around May I believe. This year I am a junior attending Fort Lauderdale High School for the 2020-2021 school year. The purpose of me taking this class because I want to get into editing and going in depth of how films are made. Im also in this class because I want to get Aice diploma but over all just to see if i would be interested in the film industries later on for a career. So far i am liking this class but sadly my editing skills aren't that good, so Im hoping they will improve during this year. Making movies look really fun, my favorite movies are action movies. I mostly like movies with the Avengers, Transformers, and the fast furious, but i am also into comedy too. Currently i am unemployed but that just gives me more time for school. I applied to multiple places over the summer for a summer job meanwhile I had nothing to do at home but play video games and play soccer. I applied to fast food places because i love food and eating is amazing, but no one hired me. I wanted to apply to clothing places or places other then fast food but they either weren't hiring or some of then are just to far for me to work at. I live in an apartment and the places around here at mostly just fast food so i tried applying to most of them. I wanted to get a part time job because i like buying my own things and i also am trying to save up for the new console that Sony is releasing November 12 which is called the PlayStation 5. Im more of a controller player than a keyboard and mouse player. Ive thinking about getting into PC gaming but that comes at a cost so id prefer to to stay a console player. But anyways I prefer in the class learning personally but with this whole corona virus situations its not looking like we're going back anytime soon. Since quarantine i've most just been playing video games during the summer when i was stuck at home with nothing to do but babysit my sister while my mom was at work. I recently started playing soccer more because when quarantine started my mom wouldn't let me go out anywhere, she didn't want me or my siblings to get sick. Speaking of my siblings I have a brother which is 22 and a little sister which 9, I also have a dog that just turned 3 years old and her name is honey. Before quarantine I played for a travel team in soccer named select, but my mom took me out. Now i just play mostly with my friends or i go with my brother to play with his friends and they are really good. I was thinking about joining the Fort Lauderdale school team this year but i don't think thats going to happen since we wont be going to school anytime soon. I hope we will be going soon or at least by the year 2021 we can be returning to schools. They honestly need to find a cure for corona virus because stuck at home is not the move.

Today we final met up again to add some final touches to the film. Not going to lie, longest drive of my life. Actually i might have driven more. Either way that was a long ride but you already know I had music so it wasn't to bad. Even though that's gas money which isn't cheap if you use your car a lot. That made me realizes things. I should've just stayed home lmao. No I'm just kidding they needed me there. Wouldn't want to disappoint them when we needed to see each other one last time. I'm use to long car rides but when you're in the car alone it gets boring even when you have the music blasting. But loud music does wake you up so I never fall asleep even when I go to work early in the morning. Music is life and I love music. I should up around 3:30 nothing to crazy. Sadly notice again we haven't been able to meet up this week. I sound like I'm making so many excuses and I hate it. You guys are tired of me talk about not being able to film all the time. I've only had one blog that was actually about filming so you can probably see how little free time we have in order to film. I also just remembered I have to go put gas in my car in order for me to take that longggg drive to Isabel's house in order to film. I'm happy at the moment though because tomorrow is my birthday so i'm excited about that. I asked for a book for my birthday from Warren Buffet. He's one of the wealthiest people in the world and I really want to become something big in the future. I want to get out of my 9-5 and be financially free and help others out. How great it would be to get my parents out of there jobs. My group is busy again like usual this week but I mean so am I.
