Filming Blog
Well to start off my filming didn't really go as planned. For one it has been raining nonstop so I didn't have to many chances to film. I decided to go to the north east high school practice felid and when I got there, there were no nets. The only ones that where there were ones on the football field but we weren't allowed to go back there. I didn't think that would have been a problem because every time I go there are nets there and now they wanted to lock them up in the back. In my opinion this commercial would've been a lot better if we at least had a net to shoot on. Instead i had to use an old opening of a fence, it wouldn't have been my first choice, but it was all I had. It took me about 2 days in order to fill all of it because of the rain and the flooding that was happening around my area. Also, my brother couldn't make it due to him having work and school. Two of my friends helped me film one was on the camera and the other one was the goalkeeper. When i was doing my scoreboard and i was imagining the commercial i didn't think the weather was going to get this bad, its been so cloudy lately too. Transportation wasn't idle either since i don't have a car. The week this project was assigned my mom left for Colombia. So, my dad was always busy and so I didn't really have anyone to take me to father field. This is why my bother would have also came into play here because he has his own car so this would have been a lot easier. I would've had time to walk or ride bike over to another field but I didn't try to risk it because of the weather. I honestly think the biggest problem filming was the weather. It's not the best decision to film a soccer/ sports commercial outside when you're about to get rained on every time. For the time that I had I think I did some good filming and think it's going to turn out nice. This commercial has inspired me in filming more things and i really enjoyed it even though i has quit a bit of problems throughout filming.
