Filming Blog


To start off I didn't film while I was on Thanksgiving break, I wasn't in the country. I went to Colombia to spend time with my grandparents and my family over there. My partner Liliana Rubio also went on a trip to spend Thanksgiving somewhere else. I left for my trip on Monday and Liliana left for hers on Tuesday. We decided to just start filming the week after which is this week since we will both be here. I feel like we could have finished it during Thanksgiving break but we couldn't since both of our parents wanted to go on a trip. Overall though it was a fun trip so I can't complain I just wish this corona would end so everything could go back to normal. For my trip I went to Cali Colombia which is where I am from and so is the rest of my family. For Thanksgiving we had a big feast with some of my family but not all. I wish it could've been my whole family but because of the corona everyone stays home to be safe. We had a great time and I'm hoping to go back for Christmas break and spend time again with my family. I think if would be a lot of fun to stay in a cabin away from people and just my family together for this Christmas. I am planning on filming tomorrow with Liliana after school for most of the day. I hope we can get everything done by tomorrow if not we can film for two days. For the filming I think we might have her brother film us in the car so we can both be in the shot at the same time. I feel like we could finish in 1 day, max 2 because part of the video will be pictures too. Also, since we most likely have someone filming us it could be quicker because we wouldn't have to do so many more cuts. After we film the next day we should be working on the editing and finishing up the music video. I have a good idea for the editing part of the video and I still have to tell her about it so I hope she likes my idea if not we can just do it a different way. I hope there's a good day tomorrow so we can film because today it was raining but tomorrow is another day so we should be good.

Today we final met up again to add some final touches to the film. Not going to lie, longest drive of my life. Actually i might have driven more. Either way that was a long ride but you already know I had music so it wasn't to bad. Even though that's gas money which isn't cheap if you use your car a lot. That made me realizes things. I should've just stayed home lmao. No I'm just kidding they needed me there. Wouldn't want to disappoint them when we needed to see each other one last time. I'm use to long car rides but when you're in the car alone it gets boring even when you have the music blasting. But loud music does wake you up so I never fall asleep even when I go to work early in the morning. Music is life and I love music. I should up around 3:30 nothing to crazy. Sadly notice again we haven't been able to meet up this week. I sound like I'm making so many excuses and I hate it. You guys are tired of me talk about not being able to film all the time. I've only had one blog that was actually about filming so you can probably see how little free time we have in order to film. I also just remembered I have to go put gas in my car in order for me to take that longggg drive to Isabel's house in order to film. I'm happy at the moment though because tomorrow is my birthday so i'm excited about that. I asked for a book for my birthday from Warren Buffet. He's one of the wealthiest people in the world and I really want to become something big in the future. I want to get out of my 9-5 and be financially free and help others out. How great it would be to get my parents out of there jobs. My group is busy again like usual this week but I mean so am I.
