Introduction To The Music Video Project

I was given a music video project for my second one and I think it's going to be exciting. I think this one is going to be a little bit better than my commercial project because now I know how these filming project work for the most part. For this project I am working with my friend Liliana Rubio. Liliana has the same class as me and in the same period too. Since classes are all online, I don't know anyone else in my class other than her. I've known her since I was little, early elementary. She has been my friend ever since and that is one of the reasons I am working with her. Another reason I am working with her is because she lives really close to me. We both live next to the elementary we went to and that is good for this project so we can film together. The song we chose is called Don't You Worry Child by Swedish House Mafia. We took some time trying to pick out songs and which one would be better to use. At the beginning we wanted to use a Spanish song but then we realized that the translation of that would've took some time and usually when you translate music from Spanish to English it doesn't song how it's supposed to. So, we just decided to stick to trying to finding an English song and we found one. This one sparked interest in both of us, we both like the rhythm of the song. Another reason we chose this song is before of the story that the song has inside of it, you can hear it or read the story when you look at the lyrics. In this song he tells us about his past of his life changed. All the memories he has or had about he was little and growing up are in this song. I thought the song was pop or something similar but researching the genre of the song it says its "Progressive house, Big room house, Dance/Electronic," which I haven't heard of before but considering this is an 8-year-old song it makes sense. I'm excited to make this music video and I'm mostly excited to edit everything together. I think this filming project will be a lot better than the first one I did. I also finally found another two editing software's that I will be testing out to see which one I like better.
